How Tam uses health data

Tam can import completed workouts from Apple Health or Health Connect when you choose to connect them. This helps you bring your existing activities into Tam without recording them again.

What Tam may read

Depending on the permissions you grant, Tam may read completed exercise sessions, routes, distance, duration, steps, heart rate, elevation, and related workout timestamps. Tam reads only the records and fields you approve.

Why we use it

Imported health data is used to show activity summaries and to calculate supported pace, step, elevation, territory, streak, personal-record, and integrity results. It is not used for advertising.

Which workouts you can import

Free accounts can import supported workouts from the last 3 days. Tam Pro accounts can import from the last 21 days. The workout must also meet Tam's activity rules to earn turf or other rewards.

If the same health workout is imported on more than one Tam account, it can remain in activity history, but only the first account to import it can receive competitive credit. Duplicate imports do not earn turf, ranking distance, XP, badges, records, streaks, or challenge progress.

Your choices

Connecting a health service is optional. You can disconnect it in Tam, revoke its permission in your device settings, or choose not to import individual workouts where Tam provides that choice. Tam does not write workouts back to Apple Health or Health Connect.

If you deny access, Tam will not use the health service for future imports. Activities already imported into Tam remain available until you delete them or request account deletion.
