When activity distance looks wrong
Troubleshoot an activity that is too short or too long.
Distance is calculated from accepted route points rather than from the displayed map line. Indoor GPS drift, duplicate points, and large jumps can change the accepted total.
What to do
- Confirm Location Services and precise location are on.
- Compare the route with the recorded environment.
- Contact support with the activity ID if the issue repeats.
